Who we are looking for

We are in search of a Fund Administration Manager to lead on our UK fund operational requirements. You will need to be proactive, organised and creative - coming up with new ways of doing old things is a win in our book - if something isn’t working, or can be improved, do it!

You will be part of a small UK based team, but will work collaboratively and consistently across our group of companies to ensure a seamless experience for both our GPs and LPs. You will make smart, informed decisions, balancing precision and initiative to drive our business forward.

Your responsibilities

• GP & LP Onboarding: own the onboarding of our fund managers and investors. This is more than just a tick-box exercise - you should pride yourself on delivering a service unlike anything they’ve received from other fund admins in the past - we’re here to do it better.
• KYC & AML: drive the collection, review and acceptance/rejection of investor onboarding documentation. You may be the investor’s first interaction with Allocator One, and may be their primary point of contact - go above and beyond to make it as smooth as possible.
• Process management & cash calls: manage cash demands of the funds, liaise with investors and track payments.
• Audit oversight: oversee and assist with the annual audits and audit reports by our external auditors.
• Fund Governance: support on the preparation of Board and IC materials.
• Stakeholder management: serve as the point of contact between internal & external stakeholders. Build and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and team members.
• Financial Reporting: pull together relevant data in order to prepare clear, concise and compliant quarterly reports for investors, as well as regulators, where required.
• Operational excellence: identify inefficiencies and implement processes to improve how the leadership team works. You will constantly ask, "Is there a smarter way to do this?". Proactive problem-solving: anticipate challenges before they become problems, develop solutions independently, and flag what needs leadership’s attention.

• At least 4 years of experience in a role that has prepared and qualified you for this job - you’ve honed the skills, confidence, and judgement to deliver at a strategic level.
