International Sales Manager - Southeast Asia & China - Animal Nutrition

For a leading international company in the animal nutrition industry, AFF Recruitment & Executive Search is looking for an experienced and ambitious International Sales Manager. This role focuses on expanding the company’s presence in Southeast Asia and China. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing distributor relationships, positioning high-quality animal nutrition products more effectively, and ensuring the overall growth in the assigned region.


In this challenging role, you will focus on driving sales growth by improving distribution management and building strong partnerships. Your ability to communicate fluently in English and Chinese is crucial to successfully navigate the regional market dynamics and to support distributors with product training and development. The role offers a dynamic and international environment, with significant responsibility in achieving the company’s ambitious sales targets in the region.

Tasks

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in a relevant field (animal science/ nutrition).
  • Proven experience in a commercial role within the animal nutrition or agri-business sectors.
  • Fluency in English and Chinese is required.
  • Strong understanding of distribution management and international sales strategies.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the region.

Requirements

  • Strengthen and expand distributor relationships across Southeast Asia and China.
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan tailored to the region.
  • Achieve sales targets in terms of volume, margin, and strategic goals.
  • Conduct regular market analysis and adjust strategies to maximize opportunities.
  • Train and support distributors on product knowledge and sales techniques.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of distributors and implement improvements where necessary.
  • Candidates should be comfortable with traveling approximately four times a year for two weeks each.
  • Flexibility to work from home two days per week.
