42 Wolfsburg is a higher education NGO/start-up educating up to 600 students to become cutting-edge techies and software engineers in a practice-based peer-learning environment. 42 Wolfsburg is based on the internationally successful concept of Ecole 42 which was founded 2013 in Paris and today trains 18‘000+ students in 54 schools all over the world. Tasks
As Pedagogy Lead you will be responsible for providing our Pisciners and Students with the best learning experience and allow them to succeed in the 42 Curriculum. You and your team will be responsible for the planning and execution of our Piscines and the management of all activities around the Core Curriculum and the Advanced Curriculum. Additionally you'll foster a vibrant community that is a safe and enjoyable space for students from all walks of life.
Your role requires a good understanding of the 42 Pedagogy, coding, work stream and process management as well as people management.
Your position includes but is not limited to the following key responsibilities:
- Ensure the successful deployment and daily operations of the pedagogy, following the instructions of the 42 Central team.
- Schedule and organise selection Piscines so that the candidates have the best possible experience and become successful students, organise exams, rushes, and other recurring pedagogical tasks.
- Monitor and adjust the effectiveness of the pedagogy for students in the Core Curriculum, in order to ensure they successfully complete it and land a job in IT.
- Implement and adjust the pedagogy for students in the Advanced Curriculum, as they return to 42 Wolfsburg to specialise in one or multiple domains.
- Develop, implement and carry out monitoring processes for our extended programs, such as scholarships or publicly funded programs.
- Oversee the implementation of the Mobility specialisation, a new 42 Advanced topic currently under development in Wolfsburg.
- Manage the Pedagogy team (Pedagogy Manager, Pedagogy Intern, Community Manager) and organise their tasks.
- Along with the Community Manager, make the best use of the gamified aspect of the 42 pedagogy to keep students engaged both in their studies and in the community.
- Participate in pedagogical communications, both internally and externally, and in global events organised by 42 Central, contribute to updates and evolutions of the curriculum, projects, special events, and pedagogical processes.

Must-have:
- Right to live and work in Germany,
- 42 Common Core completed or similar education background,
- At least two years of work experience at a 42 Campus or in a learning organisation,
- Dedication to student success and the 42 model,
- Fluent in both written and verbal English,
- Friendly, kind, helpful, proactive, and flexible personality,
- Strong alignment with our values of inclusivity and open-mindedness.
Nice-to-have:
- Proficiency in C, C++, Shell scripting, Python, or data analysis,
- Experience with the 42 API,
- Experience in the mobility field,
- Previous experience in a team management role,
- French, German and/or other languages skills (considering our diverse international student community with 50+ nationalities and the direct cooperation with the 42 Central Team in France).
