Founding Engineer

Zentio provides adaptive, self-optimising production planning software that makes European factories competitive.

Own problems end-to-end and ship. High agency and accountability. You’ll:

• Ship end-to-end features across the stack: React UI; REST/tRPC services; Postgres; containers.
• Design/evolve Postgres schemas and migrations; ensure reliability and performance.
• Build/extend integrations with ERP/MES/SCADA; expose scheduling/constraints via clean APIs.
• Instrument, test, and monitor what you ship.

You bring (requirements)

• A strong thesis or interest in AI first development
• React
  proficiency (priority): complex UIs, solid state/rendering
  fundamentals, DOM manipulation & Web Canvas API. exact past stack is
  optional.
• TypeScript; strong API design for REST and gRPC.
• Postgres (priority): schema modelling, indexing, migrations, query tuning.
• cloud exposure (GCP/GKE).
• Good eye for web UI; clear, direct communication.

Nice to have

• DDD / micro-services / Rust
• An interest in manufacturing
