Venture Manager & Startup Coach - Digital Innovation (m/f/d)

The Technologiepark Weinberg Campus, acts as a key link between high-tech companies, research institutions, and a growing community of startups and innovation networks.

More than 15.000 people study, research, and work on campus in forward-looking fields – turning ideas into innovations. Among the pillars supporting this innovation ecosystem is a targeted accelerator program.

The Startup Elevator Digital Innovation is designed to support startups from pre-seed to growth stage in sectors such as digital business models, AI, cloud infrastructure, smart services and cybersecurity. The program supports startups in shaping viable, scalable, and investor-ready ventures with a clear market orientation – thereby contributing directly to the digital transformation of the regional economy.

The accelerator is funded by the state of Saxony-Anhalt as part of the “Sachsen-Anhalt Business Accelerator Digital” initiative. The core of the program includes a 9-month startup accelerator program tai- lored to the unique dynamics of digital innovation.

Now, we are looking for a dedicated and innovation-driven Venture Manager & Startup Coach – Digital Innovation (m/f/d).

• Support digital startups in areas like business development, market access, growth strategy, investment planning, and pitch readiness.
• Scout and attract promising startups to join the
• Act as the go-to-coach for participating teams, using tailored development goals and structured feedback
• Communicate confidently with founders and investors as well as C-level representatives from the
• Expand and manage relationships with relevant partners, tech experts, service providers, and stakeholders across the digital ecosystem.
• Represent the accelerator and the Weinberg Campus at key startup and tech events, both locally and nationally.
• Support the design and delivery of coaching sessions, workshops, and mentoring activities – sometimes independently, sometimes together with team members.
• Contribute to the planning and execution of the accelerator, as well as related project management

• University degree (Bachelor, Master, or equivalent) in business, tech, information technology or a related digital discipline.
• Professional experience in business development, startup/innovation consulting, or digital product development.
• Familiarity with startup fundraising, go-to-market strategies, and digital growth metrics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly grasp digital business models.
• Confident, professional communication style – both with startups and corporate stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational and time management
• Passion for digital innovation and the startup ecosystem in Saxony-Anhalt.
• Fluent in English and German (spoken and written).
• Proficient with modern office and collaboration tools (MS Office, Notion, Miro, etc.).
• Strong team spirit and a hands-on, customercentric mindset.
