We're looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Finance team, reporting to the Head of Finance. This isn't a role where you'll sit behind a spreadsheet in isolation: you'll be embedded with the teams you support, turning numbers into a story that helps the business make better, faster and more accurate decisions.
The best person for this role is genuinely curious about the why of the performance, not just the what. You'll be the person who spots that a margin dip is really a promo-mix issue, or that a strong month was carried by one channel, and can explain it in a sentence a non-finance colleague immediately understands. If you love the moment a messy dataset resolves into a clear insight, you'll enjoy it here.
Act as a finance partner across the business, building relationships that make you the first call when someone needs to understand the financial impact of a decision.
Work across Finance, Merch and Ops to help embed the new IMS (Cin7) and bring inventory, margin and availability into effective reporting and action orientated analysis
Support budget-holders through the budgeting and reforecasting cycle, helping them build realistic yet stretching numbers with buy in and detailed plans to achieve them.
Own regular reporting and variance analysis, going beyond the "what" to the "why", identifying the real drivers behind performance and what they mean for the weeks / months ahead.
Build and maintain models and dashboards that surface trends early rather than confirming them late.
Turn analysis into clear, well-designed outputs that leadership can act on.
Support the monthly management accounts and reporting pack, ensuring numbers are accurate, timely and well-explained.
Lead Budget and reforecasting cycles that deliver against our Financial Strategy.
Help evolve our forecasting and budgeting processes as the business scales.
Deliver ad hoc analysis, modelling, and presentations to support senior stakeholder and executive decision-making.
Newly qualified in an accounting qualification such as CIMA or ACCA.
A proactive and commercially focused mindset, with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
A solid understanding of FP&A processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance management.
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and influence at all levels, cutting down on financial jargon to deliver best outputs and actions with the team.
