SAP Business Functional Analyst (m/f/d)

The Process Expert will be responsible for the following:

Supporting design requirements and implementation of SAP manufacturing execution (ME) modules primarily at the site level; may support/lead initiatives on a global scale

Supporting the OPAL- and Serialization- Process Lead by driving implementation of complex tasks and providing input into the strategy to optimize execution

Leading daily operations including monitoring SAP-MES interfaces; partnering with the Value Streams to resolve issues and drive forward to resolution

Systematic and continuous Process Improvements in designated area of expertise with cross-locational scope

This position will work with cross-functional and cross-locational teams from different lines of businesses, manufacturing systems to successfully execute Supply Chain Business Processes, to enhance SAP functionality and to support end users, ensuring transactions are completed in an accurate and timely manner. Uses proven SAP experience to provide industry-leading solutions to solve cross-platform integration issues and develop in-process metrics to demonstrate process efficiencies and system adoption.

Supports the creation and implementation of complex business requirements in collaboration with disparate stakeholders to support continuous business process improvement within Supply Chain and manufacturing operations. Ensures business requirements are in alignment with global template.

Key point of contact for SAP Key Users and responsible for the most efficient Supply Chain process execution in SAP with focus in Manufacturing Execution. This includes the pro-active monitoring of complex SAP-MES/Recipe Driven Execution interfaces with high acumen for different MES solutions and supporting daily operations by resolving process-related issues and escalating technical issues as needed.

Analyzes existing manufacturing execution processes to support the development of global process standards, process metrics, make recommendations, and drive solutions resulting in process standards/templates, potential enhancements to existing SAP solutions and drive business adoption.

Constantly improves standards, policies, procedures, and guidelines and identifies adequate controls as well as KPIs to maintain the global consistency of the new processes. Liaise with global template owners to align Changes.

Takes on project responsibility for complex cross-location projects

Leads User Acceptance Testing activities, cut over and go-live activities

Closely collaborates with the Process Experts from all Manufacturing sites as well as other process teams such as manufacturing Supply and Warehousing, and Production Planning.

Responsible for developing training materials in collaboration with the Global Manufacturing Execution Team and ensuring key users are trained on the material. Ensures training is holistic to meet integration standards

Provides Subject Matter expertise with applicable technical and business acumen to manufacturing and supply chain business partners to help resolve errors in a systematic manner within applicable ERP and Manufacturing Execution Systems and maintain uninterrupted movement of products through Global Supply Chain (including Monitoring for Posting Issues).

Provides product or process related information requests for customers, affiliates, and regulatory agencies in a timely manner to support business inquiries. Supports internal audits and reviews for corrective action plans, inclusive of business and data gaps to improve operational efficiency and mitigate quality or compliance risks.

Compliant and timely implementation of product and process changes, inclusive of applicable manufacturing changes, operational SOPs, and detailed Work Instructions. Ensures timely and continuous product supply to avoid stock out in any market.

Fosters a culture of continuous improvement through data-driven analysis, training and mentoring while focusing on operational efficiency and the elimination of “non-value added” activities.

Education

Bachelor of Science Degree, preferably in IT, Business related field.

Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience of supply chain, manufacturing, or data management within pharmaceutical or highly regulated industry

Experience in SAP Production Planning and Control (PP) and Materials Management (MM) Modules

Additional experience in Serialization, Inventory Management (IM), Exended Warehouse Management (eWM) and Material Requirement Planning (MRP) modules are beneficial.

SAP BI, Kinaxis Rapid Response, SAP Ariba, SAP Middleware (Mulesoft, MII, PI/PO), Trackwise, GDRS, MES, ARIS, Process and Project Management Methodology experience are beneficial
