Role description

We are looking for a Senior Logistics Specialist to take ownership of the end-to-end logistics operations for our POS terminals (payment devices). In this role, you will be closely involved in the day-to-day coordination of shipments, inventory, and partner deliveries, ensuring our logistics processes run smoothly and reliably.

You will collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to maintain efficient logistics operations and consistent delivery performance. Additionally, you will support and guide a small logistics team, helping maintain high service levels for our partners.

This role is ideal for someone with proven logistics experience who enjoys solving practical operational challenges and keeping complex logistics flows running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Logistics Operations & Coordination

• Take ownership of the end-to-end logistics lifecycle of POS terminals, from inbound deliveries to distribution to partners and customers.
• Coordinate daily logistics operations including inventory management, shipments, returns, and device preparation.
• Work closely with couriers, suppliers, and service partners to ensure reliable and timely deliveries.
• Act as the central coordination point for logistics-related topics across internal teams.
• Ensure logistics operations meet internal service level agreements (SLAs) for delivery, quality, and support.

Team Collaboration & Support

• Support and guide a small logistics team, helping to prioritize tasks and ensure smooth daily operations
• Coordinate closely with commercial, product, and operations teams to support partner onboarding and pipeline execution
• Help resolve operational challenges and urgent logistics issues quickly and effectively

Process Reliability & Improvements

• Monitor logistics workflows and identify practical improvements to increase efficiency and reliability
• Maintain accurate inventory records and support stock controls and audits
• Use existing systems (including SAP and internal tools) to track and manage logistics activities
• Contribute to clear reporting and operational KPIs for logistics performance

What you bring

• Education or professional training in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain operations, preferably in hardware or device distribution
• Proven experience managing end-to-end logistics processes and coordinating with multiple stakeholders
• Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
• Fluent German & English – required
• Strong operational ownership mindset with the ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and resolve complex logistics challenges in dynamic environments
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bridge business and operational perspectives
• Strong change and improvement mindset, with the ability to challenge existing processes and implement practical improvements

• Familiarity with logistics compliance and security standards (e.g., PCI DSS) is a plus
