Wallee requires a team of experienced and versatile software engineers to achieve our mission of providing the best payment experience to customers on the market. We use Scrum processes to organize our teams in multiple countries. We build technology leading payment systems that require a high degree of robustness, scalability and security. As we’re disruptors of the payment market we’re constantly pushing with our solutions into new areas.
We are recruiting for our office in Vilnius.
Tasks
What you will do:
- Develop and enhance our terminal software, focusing on improving the user experience, extending and optimizing SDKs, and evolving our cloud network protocols.
- Contribute to payment card standard compliance, researching and implementing solutions to ensure our software meets industry requirements.
- Collaborate with the product engineering team to refine user stories, ensuring technical feasibility and clear requirements.
- Provide expertise and training to our third-level support team on our SDKs and APIs, acting as a technical advisor.
- Handle and solve troubleshooting and technical issues.
- You participate in code reviews of colleagues.
Requirements
What we are looking for:
- You speak very good English.
- You are highly committed and result-oriented.
- Knowledge in writing secure and well-structured code (Kotlin, Java) for Android.
- Solid understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals, including the principles of symmetric and asymmetric ciphers and the applications of cryptographic hash functions.
- Experience with essential network protocols including TCP, HTTP, and TLS.
- Experience with the Android Open Source Project is a plus.
- Focus and professionalism to write readable, documented and unit-tested code.
- A user focused mindset and an intrinsic motivation to learn new things.
- Ability to deliver to tight deadlines.
- Ability to analyse issues and contribute with ideas and solutions in a fast growing, global company.

Salary range: €2,500 – €5,000 gross/month, depending on experience, seniority, and technical expertise
