PHP Developer

In this role you will be expected mainly:

• Develop and maintain web applications using PHP frameworks such as Symfony, Laravel, and Silverstripe.
• Work effectively within Scrum teams, contributing to all phases of the Scrum process.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners (POs) to ensure alignment with project goals and requirements.
• Engage in proactive support and knowledge exchange with colleagues to foster a collaborative team environment.
• Implement backend (and frontend solutions) as part of a full-stack development process.
• Engage in database design and optimization to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Integrate various APIs.
• Participate in the full development lifecycle, including DevOps practices like CI/CD and containerization with Docker.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (or similar) in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in full-stack or backend development.
• Advanced proficiency in PHP.
• Proven experience with at least one Symfony- or Laravel or Silverstrape-based project.
• Excellent numerical and analytical mindset.
• Proficiency in database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, and NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
• Experience with API integration, especially RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD and Docker.
• Proficiency in English.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with cloud technologies (e.g., Google Cloud, AWS, Azure).
• Experience working in Scrum teams or agile environments.
• Prior experience in international work settings.
• Basic knowledge of React.
• Strong skills in JavaScript.
