The space, where Web3’s online energy meets an offline home always had the mission to provide a high-signal co-working and event space that helps Web3 builders, founders, and communities to work, connect, learn, and launch their projects.

🧠 About the Role

As Managing Director, you own the P&L, team, and strategic roadmap of w3.hub while driving growth across memberships, events, partnerships, and brand. You’ll balance commercial discipline (occupancy, revenue, margins) with community and event excellence (member experience, event quality, NPS, reputation) to keep the w3.hub both financially strong and culturally vibrant.

You’ll set OKRs, manage and maintain a high-performing team, and overtake processes across operations, sales, marketing, and client success. You’ll also lead partnerships, pricing, and supplier negotiations to optimize quality and cost.

This is a senior, hands-on role for a builder who shifts smoothly between strategy and execution.

• Leadership & Strategy: Own P&L, set budgets, define multi-year strategy, build and coach a high-performing team with clear OKRs.
• Commercial Growth, Partnerships & BD: Grow membership and event revenue via pricing, pipeline and contracts, optimize occupancy and churn, and forge partnerships to secure sponsorships, residencies and co-branded programs.
• Community & Programming: Curate admissions and onboarding; run workshops, meetups (w3pizza), demo days, residencies; champion member success across w3group.
• Operations, Facilities & Events: Ensure daily excellence across all floors (maintenance, cleaning, IT/AV), optimize space, manage vendors and work with our event partner on the event schedule and Berlin Blockchain Week programming to drive repeat client business.
• Marketing & Brand: Elevate w3.hub’s presence via content, PR, newsletters, social; uphold brand standards across on-site and online touchpoints.
• Administration: Coordinate with the tax accountants, handle invoicing/collections, contracts/lease, insurance and compliance

• 5+ years in managing co-working, hospitality, events, or operations-heavy spaces; or senior startup ops/GM experience.
• Proven P&L ownership with track record of growing revenue and optimizing costs while scaling quality.
• Strong commercial expertise: sales, pricing, negotiation, and partnership building.
• Excellence in operations: process design, OKR management, vendor control, and facilities oversight.
• Team leadership: hiring, coaching, performance management and culture-building with high standards
• Outstanding communication skills, fluent in English. German proficiency is a strong plus.
• Calm under pressure – you can “juggle 10 balls at once” and still ship quality.
• Bonus: A passion for the Web3 community and a desire to play a key role in its development.

• Autonomy with support: close collaboration with founders; clear goals, lots of room to build.

• Work from a high-energy base in Kreuzberg (Gleisdreieck) with fast-paced weekdays and selective evening or weekend moments that matter.
