In your position as a Sales Manager for Embedded Vision Systems covering the Eastern North America territory, you will be responsible for proactively expanding our client’s business with existing customers, along with identifying new opportunities and cultivating new customer relationships, focusing on industrial machine vision, logistics, autonomous vehicles, robotics, drones and IoT applications.
You will have the responsibility of managing existing customers and developing the territory with support from our client’s offices in the bay area. The position will require working from home and travelling within your sales territory to visit customers. This position requires expertise in industrial cameras, embedded imaging technology and related applications, ability to work independently, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Tasks
- Act as liaison between customers and our client’s bay area team, giving existing and new customers an exceptional experience
- Identify new opportunities with existing customers
- Identify potential customers in our client’s target markets and promote our client’s products to them
- Advise customer on embedded vision system design and key components selection
- Manage the full sales cycle for all opportunities, from initial quotations to production forecast management
- Become the expert on customer’s needs and expectations within the territory and summarize this information for internal stakeholders
- Study trends in applications of embedded imaging in your territory and summarize this information for internal stakeholders
- Support our client’s marketing efforts including showing product demos, giving live and online presentations, and working in trade show booths
- Deliver revenue growth in the territory according to goals
Requirements
- BS Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or similar
- Minimum 5 years in sales of industrial vision hardware or systems
- Create lasting and productive relationships with customers
- Manage complex sales cycles from start to finish
- Excellent presentation and communication skills in English
- Team player with customer focus
- Proficient in MS Office Tools
- Proficiency in Mandarin is desired but not required
