Cloud Multimedia Backend Developer/Engineer

Our headquarters is in Vienna, where we develop and manufacture both the hardware and the software of the smart glasses. Making Future Reality together - are you in?

Develop the multimedia backend for our eye-tracking analyzing software

* Ensure proper ingestion, recording, and streaming of audio, video, and metadata streams

* Analyze live streams and recorded data with a combination of AI and classical algorithms

* Implement aggregations and caching mechanisms for performant visualizations at the frontend

* Test, document, and maintain the developed software using modern tools and technology

* Participate in code reviews and other measures to ensure the high quality of our products

* Use state-of-the-art CI/CD tools and methods, such as GitLab and Docker

Over 5 years of experience in software development in a relevant field with C++ and/or Rust

* Deep understanding of timed multimedia data technologies (MP4, H264, AC1, AAC, RTP, WebRTC, RTSP, ...)

* Basic knowledge of DevOps and distributed systems

* Experience in all stages of development and maintenance

* Proficient written and spoken English

* Background in software testing and quality
