• Work with real client data (messy, incomplete, high-impact)
• Build models that actually get used (not just Jupyter notebooks)
• Support product + engineering with data-driven decisions
• Ship features that affect real users

• Strong fundamentals (Python, Pandas, basic ML)
• Can think, not just follow tutorials
• Comfortable with ambiguity
• Actually finishes what they start

• Clean and structure raw datasets independently
• Ship at least 1 usable model / data pipeline
• Contribute to a real client or internal project
