Operations Specialist

Upway is the leading platform selling refurbished e-bikes in Europe and the US. In two years, we have given a new life to over 20,000 e-bikes, and we are continuing to grow fast! Germany has now become our largest market, and we are hiring an Operations intern to join the launch of the second German Upcenter in Düsseldorf. Our goal is to build the most efficient, highest-quality and safest operation at scale, so we can refurbish over 1 million German e-bikes in the next 10 years!

• Unbox bikes and components
• Check in bikes and verify specifications
• Take high-quality photos of bikes in our photo studio
• Prepare bikes for shipping (e.g., packaging, labeling)
• Train and support fellow team members on the floor
• Identify and improve parts of the operational workflow
• Collaborate with the ops team to support growth and new processes
• Keep the workspace clean, organized, and safe

• Strong attention to detail
• A bias for action and fast, hands-on execution
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• High energy and a drive to learn and improve every day
