Our client, Solvias AG, is a global cGMP Contract Research Organization (CRO) with a comprehensive portfolio of analytical services for the pharmaceutical, biotech and life sciences industry.

Global ERP Service Delivery Lead – Microsoft Dynamics (m/f/d)

Location: Kaiseraugst, AG or Hombourg, FR

Position

As Global ERP Service Delivery Head – Microsoft Dynamics, you take full ownership of the global ERP landscape within a highly regulated life sciences environment.
In this role, you act as the central authority for all ERP-related topics—ensuring stability, standardization, and long-term scalability of the system. Rather than leading a large internal team, you drive impact through hands-on expertise, strong decision-making, and effective steering of external partners and offshore resources.
You play a key role in Solvias’ digital transformation by establishing a consistent ERP strategy, optimizing end-to-end business processes, and ensuring reliable service delivery across global operations.

Tasks

• Own and drive the global Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP landscape end-to-end
• Define and implement a clear ERP strategy with a strong focus on standardization over customization
• Ensure stable, secure, and compliant ERP operations across all business units
• Manage and steer external partners, system integrators, and offshore delivery teams
• Oversee ERP service delivery, including incident management, support processes, and continuous improvement
• Define and monitor KPIs and SLAs to ensure high-quality service and system performance
• Lead ERP-related projects (implementations, upgrades, enhancements) from planning to execution
• Act as the key interface between IT and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment of priorities and solutions
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal quality standards
• Drive root cause analysis and implement sustainable solutions for system and process issues
• Contribute to the company’s digital transformation by integrating ERP capabilities into the broader IT landscape (incl. Azure and integrations)
• Manage ERP-related budgets and ensure cost-efficient delivery

Qualification

• Completed higher education or equivalent qualification in IT, business administration, or a related field
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 in a global environment
• Strong end-to-end understanding of ERP processes
• Proven track record in ERP service delivery and vendor management incl. external partners and offshore teams
• Experience in regulated industries such as pharma, biotech, or life sciences (GxP knowledge required)
• Hands-on, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to operate without a large internal team
• Strong decision-making skills and ability to drive topics independently
• Solid knowledge of IT Service Management and project delivery
• Experience with ERP integrations and cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure)
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills in an international environment
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
