Your mission
Design and optimization of the electrochemical cell and process of our DAC technology to create a robust and mass-manufacturable product.
We are seeking a skilled Senior Process Engineer to join our Berlin-based startup. Your primary focus will be on the design, execution, and optimization of lab and industrial-scale testing related to our electrochemical cell processes. You will be working within an interdisciplinary team of experts in material science, electrochemistry, modeling, and process engineering.
Key Points
- Design & optimize the electrochemical process
- Highlight and solve process challenges connected to the electrochemical cell
- Support the creation of Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and simulations for process optimization.
- Consider solvent composition, kinetics, and energy consumption for the electrochemical process
- Mentor and support junior process engineers and testing engineers.
Your profile
Skills and Experience
- Master’s degree or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 years of work experience in designing and optimizing electrochemical processes
- Familiarity with P&IDs and process simulation tools.
- Proficiency in using lab equipment and software for data collection and analysis.
- Work experience in operating electrochemical systems, building prototypes, and operating systems at different scales
