We're looking for an experienced souschef to support out chef in our newly renovated Tulp!
What will you do:
Menu Planning & Development
- Collaborate with head chef on menu creation and modifications.
- Ensure cost-effective and quality dishes.
Kitchen Management
- Supervise kitchen staff during food preparation.
- Maintain food and equipment inventory.
Food Preparation & Cooking
- Cook dishes to recipe and quality standards.
- Ensure safe and hygienic food handling.
Quality Control & Hygiene
- Monitor ingredient and dish quality.
- Comply with health and safety regulations.
Administrative Tasks
- Assist with menu costing and budgeting.
- Maintain kitchen records.
Who are you:
- around 6 years of experience in a kitchen
- around 1 year of experience as a souschef
- experience in an Asian (Fusion) kitchen is a big plus!
- you live in or around Amsterdam
