This senior leadership role is responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of high-value accounts and prospective clients. The position is instrumental in driving commercial success by fostering long-term partnerships, identifying growth opportunities, and expanding business within existing and new accounts.
Reporting to senior leadership, this role provides direction to account and business development functions while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored, client-centric solutions that align with business objectives.
Tasks
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned accounts and target prospects, driving revenue growth and account expansion.
- Build strong, trusted relationships with clients, acting as a strategic advisor and recommending value-driven solutions.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to direct reports and cross-functional teams to enhance client engagement and delivery.
- Collaborate with internal departments including Product, Marketing, Sales Operations, Technical Pre-Sales, Service Delivery, and Finance to ensure a seamless end-to-end client experience.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with overall business goals, including accurate forecasting.
- Lead contract negotiations and renewal processes, ensuring sustainable and mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Monitor performance against targets, delivering regular reports and insights to senior stakeholders.
- Stay up to date with market trends, industry developments, and competitor activity to anticipate client needs and inform strategy.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in account management or business development within a technology-focused environment.
- Proven track record of achieving growth targets and maintaining strong client relationships.
