Tasks
- Design, implement, and manage the migration of virtualized environments from VMware to Google Cloud Platform, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to understand their infrastructure needs and recommend appropriate Google Cloud solutions.
- Continuously monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure performance, scaling resources as necessary to meet business demands.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of system architecture, configurations, and processes related to cloud migrations and operations.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for cloud infrastructure issues, working closely with Google Cloud support to resolve complex problems efficiently.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience with VMware virtualization technologies and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
- Strong understanding of network concepts, cloud architecture, and security best practices.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues across virtualized environments and cloud infrastructure.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
