At ThirtyEight Capital, we don’t just invest in companies—we build them.

As a Founder’s Associate Intern, you’ll spend your internship embedded in one of our portfolio companies, therapie1, while working closely with the founders of both therapie1 and ThirtyEight Capital.

therapie1 is redefining outpatient physiotherapy by combining outstanding therapists, modern technology and operational excellence to create a new standard of patient care. You’ll join at an exciting stage of growth and work on projects that have a direct impact on the business.

This is not a typical internship. From day one, you’ll take ownership, solve real business challenges and gain first-hand experience building a high-growth company from the inside.

Improve internal processes and implement AI-powered workflows.

Build financial models, presentations and business cases for key decisions.

Collaborate across operations, marketing, finance and business development.

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Economics, Engineering or a related field.

Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on attitude.

High level of ownership and willingness to take responsibility.

Excellent communication skills in German and English.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.

Experience with Excel, PowerPoint and AI tools such as ChatGPT is a plus.

Previous experience in startups, consulting, venture capital or private equity is a plus, but not required.

Benefits

Work directly with experienced founders on high-impact projects.

Gain first-hand experience building and scaling a venture-backed healthcare company.

Steep learning curve with real ownership from day one.

Exposure to venture building, operations, strategy and growth.

Flexible working environment.

Opportunity to join full-time after a successful internship.

If you’re ambitious, curious and excited about building companies instead of just learning about them, we’d love to hear from you.

Please send us your CV and a short note explaining why you’d like to join us. We care more about your curiosity, ownership and drive than a perfect résumé.
