As a Founder’s Associate Intern, you’ll spend your internship embedded in one of our portfolio companies, therapie1, while working closely with the founders of both therapie1 and ThirtyEight Capital.
therapie1 is redefining outpatient physiotherapy by combining outstanding therapists, modern technology and operational excellence to create a new standard of patient care. You’ll join at an exciting stage of growth and work on projects that have a direct impact on the business.
This is not a typical internship. From day one, you’ll take ownership, solve real business challenges and gain first-hand experience building a high-growth company from the inside.
Tasks
- Work directly with the founder and leadership team on strategic and operational initiatives.
- Drive cross-functional projects with real business impact.
- Analyze markets, competitors and customer insights to identify growth opportunities.
- Support new clinic launches and expansion projects.
- Improve internal processes and implement AI-powered workflows.
- Build financial models, presentations and business cases for key decisions.
- Collaborate across operations, marketing, finance and business development.
- Take ownership of projects from idea to execution.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Economics, Engineering or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on attitude.
- High level of ownership and willingness to take responsibility.
- Excellent communication skills in German and English.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
- Experience with Excel, PowerPoint and AI tools such as ChatGPT is a plus.
- Previous experience in startups, consulting, venture capital or private equity is a plus, but not required.
