We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and play a key role in maintaining and optimizing our IT systems.

## Tasks

As an IT Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks related to IT systems and infrastructure. Your core responsibilities will include:

*   **Scripting:** Utilize proficient scripting skills in PowerShell to automate manual tasks and streamline IT operations.
*   **System Maintenance:** Maintain and optimize our IT systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and securely.
*   **Windows Expertise:** Apply your current Windows expertise, particularly at the MCSE level for Windows Server 2016/2019/2022.
*   **Database Administration:** Manage MSSQL servers, including database administration, performance tuning, and optimization.
*   **Performance Tuning:** Conduct Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO) using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools. Handle backups, restores, and recovery models.
*   **Database Management:** Manage indexes, index management, and statistics for optimal database performance.
*   **IT Security:** Demonstrate expertise in IT security, including Microsoft patching, CVE investigation, and system hardening.
*   **Networking:** Apply networking skills for firewall, router, and switch management to ensure seamless network operations.
*   **Virtualization:** Manage VMware ESX/ESXi Servers, particularly version 7.0, to support our virtualized environment.
*   **Microsoft Technologies:** Maintain proficiency in MS AD 2016/2019, MS Exchange 2016, and above to support our Microsoft ecosystem.
*   **Operating System Hardening:** Implement and maintain the hardening process of the operating system to enhance security.
*   **SAN Environment:** Utilize your experience in SAN-based environments to ensure data storage reliability.

## Requirements

*   **Experience:** 2-3 years of experience in an IT Systems Engineer role, with a strong track record of success.
*   **MCSE Certification:** Current Windows or relevant experience at MCSE level for Windows Server 2016/2019/2022.
*   **Database Experience:** At least 2 years of experience with database administration for MSSQL servers.
*   **Performance Optimization:** Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), including backups, restores, and recovery models.
*   **Database Knowledge:** Strong knowledge of indexes, index management, and statistics.
*   **IT Security:** Expertise in IT security, including Microsoft patching and CVE investigation.
*   **Networking Skills:** Proficiency in networking, encompassing firewall, router, and switch management.
*   **Virtualization:** Familiarity with VMware ESX/ESXi Servers, version 7.0.
*   **Microsoft Technologies:** Proficiency in MS AD 2016/2019, MS Exchange 2016, and above.
*   **System Hardening:** Knowledge of the operating system hardening process.
*   **SAN Environment:** Experience in SAN-based environments.
