TheBlondHR is conducting an exclusive search for a visionary Head of Product Design & Development to join a leading, export-oriented knitwear manufacturer in Dhaka, Bangladesh. This is a high-impact, expatriate leadership role created to transform the creative heart of the business.

🎯 Your Core Mission

You will be the driving force behind the product creation engine, moving the organization from a manufacturing executor to a strategic design partner for global retailers. Your primary focus will be:

• Holding full ownership of the seasonal calendar, from concept and trend direction to final bulk production for key global buyers, with a strong emphasis on H&M.
• Acting as the primary design authority and key interface for buyers, leading all presentations and technical discussions with fluency and confidence.
• Building, mentoring, and upskilling the internal design and development team, instilling global best practices.
• Championing innovation in sustainable fibers, knit constructions, and finishes while ensuring strict compliance with buyer standards.

✨ The Ideal Profile

We are looking for a transformative leader who brings:

• 10-15 years of progressive experience in knitwear design and product development, with a mandatory, direct working history with H&M (supplier, buying office, or brand-side).
• A proven track record in a large-scale, export-oriented manufacturing environment.
• Exceptional creative and technical skills, paired with strong executive presence and flawless English communication.
• A global perspective, with prior international or expatriate assignment experience being a strong advantage.
• A relevant degree in Fashion/Apparel Design or Textiles.
• A strong preference will be given to qualified female candidates from the Southeast Asia region who are ready to relocate and lead from the front in Dhaka.
