**We were founded in 2019 and are headquartered in Berlin.** . We are currently developing **coliving spaces in  
Berlin & Munich with 320 & 156 apartments**, a variety of shared community spaces and our own F&B area. But this is just the beginning - thanks to our real estate partners, we have multiple projects in our pipeline in other major German cities. We aim to become the leading global coliving provider - with our community always at the forefront.We are a young, multicultural team, in which the word startup still holds what it promises. **ABOUT THE ROLE**

 At The Base we care about our community and every single resident. We believe that fun and inspiring environments for residents and team will make the difference and will target young professionals to join our flourishing community!

Moreover, The Base stands for a powerful brand and will support the coliving business to shine, rise and expand. We want to be on the bucket list of every potential person of our target group. We are always The Base and never  
basic! We believe in selling memorable moments, not just apartments. 

As Sales Manager, you are committed to use your unique mix of style, skills and experience to close profitable deals with the right partners. You will take responsibility for B2B sales revenue through client development and pro-active sales. On top of that, you will help to develop the strategy for venue sales and events and support the local F&B team in delivering on bespoke events for your B2B clients. 

What’s in exactly?  

*   You own the Sales funnel from lead generation to contracting to after sales and help to define the processes. The goal is always a full house: you  
    love to sell our concept to partners and companies whose new employees need a great kick-start in Berlin 
*   You are enthusiastic about client relationships – both short and longterm. You love building and developing those partnerships while pursuing win-win deals. 
*   You represent the Base at local trade exhibitions and local events. 
*   You are actively involved in the setting of sales targets, the identification of business opportunities and the definition of growth strategies.  
*   Your perspective is total revenue, not just heads in beds. You incorporate venue and F&B sales into your sales meetings to deliver on a bespoke experience for your clients.

**ABOUT YOU**

**HARD FACTS** 

*   You have successfully sold beds and venues in a hospitality environment and know how to make sure apartments are occupied and your clients are happy 
*   You are commercially minded and can spot a good opportunity 
*   You know how to convert that opportunity and create a win-win situation 
*   You have worked in a fast-moving environment and know how to juggle different tasks and a fast-evolving workplace 
*   Ideally, you have network already or you have proven experience in building strong client relationships 
*   You are KPI-driven and know that understanding client data is a superpower  

**SOFT SKILLS**  

*   You will focus on great communication, with your team as well as your clients 
*   You know that the hospitality business is a team sport, and you aim to contribute to a great team spirit 
*   You are happy to work in a startup environment and have a strong “hands-on” mentality 
*   You can be flexible with your hours when the situation requires it. Don’t worry, we won’t ask you to be available 24/7! Just on that special day where your client holds the most important event of the year or similar “all-hands-on-deck”-situations. In return, we’ll make sure work life balance is not just a phrase. 
*   You are open-minded, caring and knowing that everyone can learn and improve their skills every day 
*   You are fluent in German and English (written and spoken) and you are comfortable in all communication modes: phone, video conferences, E-Mail or  
    face to face. 
*   You have a sense of humor
