Team Member: Front of House

Mina is an Asian inspired All-Day Fast Casual Eatery launched in Berlin, Germany. We believe in cool vibes and “Good Earth”principles.

Our menu is primarily focused on three areas: Baos, a Taiwanese sandwich, that allows us to feature the diverse flavors of Asia; Greens, grilled, roasted, braised, or cold, assembled to bring the umami flavors of that region; and lastly, Soft Serve, our small-batch ice cream blends that are free of dairy, soy, and any additives/preservatives.

You will be the first impression customers have of Mina. During your shift, you will be responsible for ensuring the best possible customer experience.

Your job responsibilities will be:

• Greeting customers and making them feel welcome!
• Taking customer orders, delivering food orders to their respective tables/take out, and returning all service ware to the kitchen
• Handling and receiving payment
• Assuring all customer facing components of the restaurant are set-up, clean and in working order for service hours. These include, but are not limited to:
• Wiping down all tables and chairs before service; maintaining a clean dining room experience
• Vacuuming and mopping all floors in the bar, dining room, corridor, and guest WC areas
• Setting up outdoor seating/
• Wiping down all bar area components
• Maintaining the cleanliness of all barware, glassware, FOH cutlery etc.
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the espresso machine
• Cleaning and preparing the soft serve ice cream machine for flavor change(s)
• Cleaning and preparing the cold press juicer for service/making the juice for the schorle
• Shutting off all FOH equipment at end of service hours (if applicable)

• I have a great attitude!
• Have worked in gastronomy before
• Are authorized to work in Germany
• Live in Berlin, as in, you have an “Anmeldung” here
• Have a “Rote Karte”
• Speak English, mindestens B1 Deutsch
• Plan to stay in Berlin for the next two (2) years
