As our Hungarian operations is ramping up, we're on the lookout for a dedicated Operation Development Associate to join our dynamic team and be a vital part of our growth journey.
Tasks
As an Operation Development Associate, you will have a chance to contribute to a successful international team. This entry-level position is tailored for candidates with 2-3 years work experience with backgrounds in logistics, supply chain, chemistry, or environmental science who are interested in developing TES SBS Hungary operation. As a key member of our team, you are going to be involved in different areas like logistics, communication, and date exchange with relevant authorities. You will have a chance to become an active contributor of all new projects in Hungary including supply chain -, site development and permitting processes in the near future.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build expert, dynamic knowledge of TES SBS products and services.
- Fulfil the Hungarian waste -, metal – transport and trading regulation.
- Data reporting on waste, metal transport to the concerned authorities
- Provide customer support, advice, and monitor internal and external operational services within our portfolio.
- Take ownership of interface control and contribute to the ongoing development and optimization of our service processes.
- Competently manage order management from entry to invoicing.
- Engage in multi-cultural communication with customers, service providers, and internal stakeholders.
- Support general the manager work on daily tasks and duties.
- Manage service activities while considering waste and hazardous goods laws, especially for batteries.
- Identify possible gaps and irregularities, proposing preventive and corrective actions to the team lead.
Requirements
- Successful completion of study in logistics, supply chain sustainability, chemistry, and/or environmental science.
- Experience or willing to learn the paperwork and permitting of waste logistics.
- Experience or willing to dive in logistics planning and/or international customer project management.
- Interested in waste management.
- Keen to learn about batteries is an advantage.
- Service-oriented mindset, combined with independence, flexibility, and customer orientation.
- Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written, in Hungarian, English, (German is an advantage)
- Confidence in standard MS Office programs.
- Team player with commitment, engaging manner, conflict resolution skills, resilience, and assertiveness.
