We’re looking for a Gameplay Engineer with a strong C++ focus to join our team as we move into full production on our debut game Ardem, an open world survival game developed in Unreal Engine 5.
In this role, you will work hands-on on gameplay systems and features, owning them end-to-end from implementation to iteration and polish. You will collaborate closely with design, art, and tech, independently gather the input needed to move your features forward, and report progress and decisions to your Lead. The role requires confidence in working across disciplines and taking responsibility for complex gameplay systems within a production environment.
Techtive Games is an ambitious indie studio based in Germany with a close knit team that focuses on building deep, interconnected gameplay systems and immersive, authentic worlds. We value creativity, ownership, and personal growth. Rather than working through rigid ticket pipelines, our team members are encouraged to actively shape systems, contribute ideas, and grow together not only on Ardem, but on future projects as well.
If you enjoy taking responsibility for certain aspects of the game, are passionate about working on or playing open world survival games, and want to grow alongside a collaborative, motivated team, we’d love to hear from you.
