**We are tech11**! Provider of the tech11 Insurance Platform. Our goal is to bring new possibilities to the insurance industry especially throughout Europe with the tech11 Insurance Platform. We are an international team with German headquarters, currently expanding globally and gearing up to establish a new office in Accra - Ghana.  

We would be excited to have you as an Ops/DevSecOps Engineer (m/f/d) on our team to help us further perfect the operation and degree of automation around our platform.  

We are seeking more than just an “operator”. We are in search of a passionate techie who is at ease with every stage of the development lifecycle, from managing infrastructure to coding and ensuring successful production.

## Tasks

*   Administration of tech11 infrastructure: Linux, Jira, BitBucket, Jenkins, Nexus... 
*   Independent recognition, limiting, analysis and correction of errors and faults 
*   Maintenance and optimization of CI/CD pipelines (BitBucket, Jenkins) and our container images 
*   Management of different server environments on different runtimes (Cloud, On-Prem, Docker, Kubernetes,...) 
*   Maintaining PostgreSQL database servers  
*   Collaboration in the Architecture and DevSecOps team to continuously improve our platform 
*   Implementation of infrastructure-related user stories in an agile team 
*   Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in Ops/DevSecOps.

## Requirements

*   Must reside in Accra, Ghana. 
*   Most importantly for us: Strong IT Focus and a love of IT 
*   Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the DevOps area 
*   A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field 
*   Good knowledge of different Linux derivatives and docker containers 
*   Knowledge in the area of config management and automation (e.g. Ansible & Terraform) 
*   Good understanding of software development tools such as Git, maven, etc 
*   Ideally, initial knowledge of Jira's handling as an agile project management tool and other agile methods 
*   Excellent communication and writing skills in English and a local language. 
*   Analytical, creative and responsible thinking, attention to detail and the ability to self-structure are essential. 
*   High motivation, initiative and a passion for learning new technologies round off your profile 
*   Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional international teams.
