Senior Platform Engineer / Senior Devops Engineer [Geneva / Zurich / Lausanne]

We are seeking a engineer (3-7 years of experience) with existing practical experience in Devops, Linux and Software development, based in either Zurich, Lausanne, or Geneva

Taurus is looking for a Senior Platform Engineer / Senior Devops Engineer. You will work in the infrastructure department ("Platform & Services"), at the heart of a fast-moving financial technology environment, to build and operate the infrastructure that powers our digital asset platform, enabling clients to protect, invest, and trade with confidence. Our team owns the full lifecycle of production, testing, and development environments, and provides the foundational services that allow engineering teams to build, deliver, and run solutions reliably at scale. We're looking for someone who is genuinely curious, comfortable operating autonomously, and who takes pride in keeping complex systems running smoothly, while constantly looking for ways to improve and automate.

Your main responsibilities will be to :

• Ensure production is always up and running efficiently
• Run services in production, testing and development environments, guaranteeing availability, efficiency, monitoring, alerting, resilience, on-call support, etc.
• Design, implement, and manage cost-effective, large-scale infrastructure systems including cloud services, networking, and storage solutions

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in operating services in complex and demanding environments and organizations - financial services a plus
• Deep understanding of SRE principles and practices, including automation, monitoring, performance tuning, and incident management.
• Proven knowledge of modern DevOps tooling (Linux, Kubernetes, Openshift, Docker, Ansible, Terraform, Python, YAML, Shell)
• Proven experience in various DevOps build and testing processes, releases management, products lifecycle management
• Ability to plan, deploy and operate both simple and complex solutions and integrate them into already existing production environments
• Knowledge/experience in database manipulation (SQL) and software development, preferably in Go, Java, or Python
• Impeccable written and verbal communication skills
• Eager to learn, highly focused on the target, team results-oriented
• Experience in leading, managing and organizing teams of engineers is a plus
