Tangible is a fast-growing, tech-driven platform providing liquidity solutions to LPs and GPs in the private-markets secondaries space. By combining deep sector expertise with modern infrastructure, we unlock liquidity across private equity, private credit, and real assets, transforming the industry and enabling investors to move faster and smarter.

We are looking for an HR Officer to join our operations team and help shape the people foundation of a fast-growing platform in private markets. You will play a key role in supporting recruitment, onboarding, and employee operations, working closely with senior leadership to ensure a seamless and engaging employee experience. This role offers the opportunity to build scalable HR processes, contribute to culture initiatives, and gain exposure across all aspects of talent and people operations in a dynamic, high-growth environment.

This role is open globally to full-time contractors who can work standard Central European Time (CET) hours, preference for candidates in Eastern Europe or South Asia.

Tasks

  • Manage the full lifecycle of contractor hiring — drafting roles, sourcing and screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and partnering with founders and team leads on selection and onboarding.
  • Oversee onboarding and offboarding of contractors and employees, ensuring smooth transitions, accurate documentation, and compliance with internal and SOC 2 requirements.
  • Maintain and organize all contractor and employee records, agreements, and HR systems, supporting global operations and payroll coordination.
  • Partner with Operations and Compliance to ensure people processes align with legal, regulatory, and data security standards.
  • Support culture and engagement initiatives across a distributed, high-performing team — from performance feedback cycles to internal communications.
  • Continuously improve HR and contractor management workflows to enhance transparency, efficiency, and the overall team experience as Tangible scales.

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience in HR within a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
  • Hands-on familiarity with HR tools, documentation, and compliance processes.
  • Detail-oriented and proactive — comfortable taking ownership and solving problems independently.
  • Interest in building scalable HR systems for a growing startup.
  • Thrives in a dynamic, distributed team culture — flexible, collaborative, and self-directed.
