Backend Developer (Ruby on Rails / Django)

Role Overview

We are looking for a Backend Developer with experience in Ruby on Rails or Django to build and scale robust backend systems. You will work closely with product and engineering teams to design efficient, reliable, and high-performance solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain backend systems and features
• Design and build RESTful APIs
• Collaborate with frontend and product teams for seamless integration
• Optimize performance, scalability, and reliability of backend services
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
• Contribute to system design and architecture decisions

Required Skills

• 1–3 years of experience in backend development
• Experience with Ruby on Rails or Django frameworks
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
• Good knowledge of data structures and algorithms
• Experience with SQL databases and data modeling
• Hands-on experience building REST APIs
• Familiarity with version control (Git)
• Good problem-solving and communication skills

Good to Have

• Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., Elasticsearch)
• Basic understanding of frontend technologies
