Tasks
We’re looking for a Mobile Engineer to work end-to-end on our mobile app, strongly collaborating with our CTO. This is your chance to refine the user experience of an app already loved by thousands of students, leveraging React Native and Expo to deliver seamless, mobile-first functionality.
As our Mobile Developer, you’ll:
- Replicate and refine features from our web app in the mobile app to ensure feature parity.
- Bring our study copilot to mobile.
- Focus on mobile-first and native functionalities, ensuring an optimized and smooth user experience.
- Leverage React Native and Expo to build and maintain a robust, scalable mobile application.
- Collaborate with the CTO and the engineering team to ensure alignment with our platform’s vision.
- Continuously enhance the app by integrating native features like notifications.
Requirements
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has at least two years of of experience in mobile development with React Native
- Experience with Expo (preferred)
- Ideally shipped apps on their own
- Has excellent problem-solving skills and thrives in a fast-paced, startup environment.
- Pays extreme attention to detail
Understands the nuances of mobile-first design and can create seamless user experiences. - Is skilled in integrating mobile-native functionalities (e.g., push notifications, offline capabilities, complex UI interactions).
