We’re looking for a talented and passionate Backend Engineer to join our founding team. In this **equity-based role**, you will work closely with the founders to build, refine, and scale our mobile application. As an early-stage startup, your contribution will directly impact the future of the company and its product.

## Tasks

*   Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure RESTful APIs using Node.js (Express/Nest.js).
*   Integrate and optimize data storage solutions using SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and MongoDB.
*   Implement AWS Lambda functions for serverless computing tasks.
*   Manage CI/CD pipelines and deployments using AWS CodeDeploy, CodePipeline, or similar tools.
*   Write reusable, testable, and efficient code, following best practices.
*   Collaborate closely with frontend developers, product managers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
*   Perform code reviews, troubleshoot, debug applications, and improve performance.
*   Ensure application security and data protection measures are in place.
*   Contribute to system architecture and technical documentation.
*   Understanding of authentication/authorization protocols (JWT, OAuth2).

## Requirements

*   Minimum **2+ years of professional experience** working with **Node.js** in a production environment.
*   Solid understanding of **RESTful API** design principles and **microservices architecture**.
*   Proficiency in **SQL databases** (like MySQL or PostgreSQL) and **NoSQL databases** (especially MongoDB).
*   Experience in **AWS services**, including **Lambda**, **S3**, **API Gateway**, and **CodeDeploy**.
*   Hands-on experience with version control tools such as Git.
*   Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker) and serverless framework is a plus.
*   Good knowledge of unit testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or similar.

**Bonus (Desirable)**

*   Familiarity with GraphQL.
*   Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
*   Exposure to monitoring tools like CloudWatch, Sentry, or Datadog.
*   Experience with logging and performance tuning.
