Senior Network Engineer

We are hiring a versatile Senior Cisco Network Specialist in Basel looking for an exciting challenge.

Our client is globalising their Networking infrastructure, building & merging their Dubai, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Paris, USA and Swiss branches.

• Lead complex network projects, such as globalizing and standardizing network infrastructure, ensuring on-time and budget-compliant delivery.
• Perform network configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting tasks, focusing on Cisco and Fortinet technologies.
• Develop and execute network strategies aligned with business and IT infrastructure objectives.
• Efficiently manage the network operations budget and negotiate vendor contracts.
• Collaborate with IT and cross-functional teams to achieve operational goals.

• 5+ years experience in network operations, design and network security.
• Strong experience with Cisco & Forti Network technologies.
• Proven track record in managing and operating mid-to-large-scale networks, with hands-on expertise in virtual firewalls, cloud solutions, and WLAN technologies.
• Experience building/working in International IT environments.
• Fluent in both German & English.

• CHF 120-140k + bonus & benefits
• Home Office: 2-3 days per week
