StepChange Consulting is expanding into Iberia with a new office in Lisbon, and we’re hiring exceptional talent with experience from top-tier strategy and management consulting firms to join our international team.

We are a specialist consultancy working with leading clients across Europe, North America, and Latin America in the forestry, pulp, paper, and packaging sectors. Unlike generalist firms, we combine boardroom-level strategy with hands-on operational execution – delivering measurable top- and bottom-line results.

• Collaborate directly with C-level and senior executives on international projects
• Develop strategies to tackle industry challenges
• Participate or lead projects across Europe and beyond
• Contribute to business development and grow our Operations in Iberia and beyond
• Represent StepChange at global conferences and industry platforms

• Minimum 2 years at a top-tier strategy consulting firm
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong academic and professional track record
• Experience to industrial/manufacturing clients is a plus
• Willingness to travel and connect with clients anywhere and anytime

• Strong functional expertise from strategy to execution in areas such as:

  • Sales & supply chain

  • Manufacturing & maintenance

  • Restructuring & organisational design

  • Procurement (strategy & execution)

  • Market & operational due diligence

  • Energy strategy

  • Business-driven digital transformation

• Fluent in English; additional languages welcome.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ambition to progress to partner level
• High emotional intelligence and leadership skills
