We are hiring a hands-on Shopify Technical Lead for a long-term remote role in Pakistan.
This is not a pure manager role.
You will communicate with clients, own delivery, and do the Shopify work yourself.
You should be able to take a task, understand the goal, build the solution, test it, and send a clear update — without constant supervision.
We are an international team working with Shopify clients on real store improvements, fixes, and custom work.
Tasks
- Handle Shopify client requests end-to-end
- Communicate with clients clearly (updates, questions, timelines)
- Implement Shopify work yourself (theme edits, fixes, customizations)
- Debug issues (frontend, Shopify settings, app/integration related)
- Break down tasks and prioritize what matters first
- Test your work before handoff
- Manage revisions and close tasks properly
- Keep work organized and moving (no dropped tasks)
Requirements
- Strong hands-on Shopify (5y+) experience (themes/customizations/fixes)
- Good English communication (written + spoken)
- Can work independently and take ownership
- Comfortable with clients and technical problem-solving
- Can manage multiple tasks without losing track
- Reliable, proactive, and solution-oriented
Strong plus:
- Shopify apps / APIs / webhooks / integrations
- Node.js / React / backend basics
- Performance optimization / debugging experience
- Agency or international client experience
