Who We Are — And Why This Role Matters
We are Start to Finish.
No startup can grow without the right team. That's why we help fast-growing startups and scale-ups — including brands like Snocks, SellerX, Mellow Noir, Pets Deli and many others — hire the key people that drive their businesses forward.
With over 100+ happy clients, we are the #1 recruiting boutique for e-commerce startups in the DACH region.
And now, our client is looking for you.
An investor‑backed scale‑up that buys used e‑bikes, restores them to “as‑good‑as‑new” standard in its own industrial hubs, and ships them to riders across Europe and the US through a high‑growth online marketplace. They have already refurbished and sold over 100,000 e‑bikes and are racing toward a bold target: getting one million refurbished bikes back on the road by 2030, cutting urban emissions while making premium light electric mobility radically more affordable.

Tasks

About the role
As Product Manager you'll be an entrepreneurial leader and take command of a major business vertical at their international headquarters in Paris. This is not a traditional management role; it is a mandate to discover, define, and dominate a core sector of the e-bike ecosystem. This person will be responsible for identifying high-impact problems and engineering the long-term vision to solve them.
You’ll work closely with designers, engineers, country teams, and on‑the‑ground users (mechanics, handlers, supervisors), using Shape Up to focus on the most impactful problems.
What you’ll work on

Deep Discovery: You won’t just look at dashboards. You’ll be on the ground in our UpCenters, talking to mechanics, visiting bike shops, and interviewing first-time e-bike buyers to build a visceral understanding of the user experience.

Visionary Strategy: We aren't looking for incremental gains. You’ll define where the product needs to be in three years and reverse-engineer the roadmap to get there today, leveraging a blend of sharp intuition and hard data.

Decisive Execution: You thrive in the "gray area." You make high-stakes decisions with imperfect information, preferring speed and iteration over consensus-seeking. You are measured by outcomes, not tickets closed.

Collaborative Building: You will work as a tight-knit unit with engineering and design to transform abstract concepts into tangible, world-class products.

Requirements

The Startup Crucible: You’ve spent 5+ years building in high-stakes, ambiguous environments (0→1 or rapid scaling).

Unapologetic Ownership: You don't wait for permission. You are the type of person who books a flight to a foreign market the moment you realize there's a gap in your understanding.

Quantitative Intuition: You speak the language of KPIs and SQL, but you use data as a flashlight to find the truth, not as a crutch to avoid making hard decisions.

Global Fluency: You have a track record of launching products that cross borders. Our team is international and based in Paris, but our impact is worldwide.

Willingness to Relocate: This position is based in Paris. The candidate must be genuinely motivated to move to France and work within a diverse, international hub.

Benefits

Relocation Mastery: To attract world-class talent, the company provides a comprehensive relocation package and full visa sponsorship for the successful candidate.

Vertical Ownership: Rather than being confined to a specific feature, the Lead owns the outcomes for an entire business pillar, providing a level of agency rarely found in larger organizations.

Sustainable Impact: The role offers the chance to lead the global shift toward e-bikes, directly contributing to the future of affordable and sustainable urban mobility.
