Working Student in Product Cost Controlling (m/f/d)

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Working Student (m/f/d) to join our Product Cost Controlling team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a student to gain hands-on experience in cost analysis, financial reporting, and budgeting within a dynamic, collaborative environment. As a member of the team, you will support the cost-controlling processes, contribute to financial insights, and help optimize product cost structures.

Your mission

• Assist in analyzing and monitoring product costs, identifying key cost drivers, and supporting cost optimization projects.
• Support the monthly and quarterly closing processes, including variance analysis and cost allocation.
• Participate in preparing detailed reports and presentations on product cost performance for internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Product Management and Engineering, to ensure accurate cost data and forecasts.
• Contribute to the creation of budgeting and forecasting models for new and existing products.
• Assist with ad-hoc financial analysis and data requests as needed.

Your profile

Education:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Skills:
• Basic knowledge of financial and cost-controlling principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Odoo or other ERP systems is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  Language:

• Proficiency in English; knowledge of German is a plus.
