Spread Engineering Intelligence

Short Description

SPREAD builds engineering intelligence for the world's most complex products. Our AI-native platform gives automotive OEMs, defense primes, and industrial manufacturers a single source of product truth so engineering teams can make confident decisions, fast. We work with companies like Volkswagen, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and Rheinmetall. Backed by HV Capital, DTCP, Cavalry Ventures, and La Famiglia.

You drive pipeline growth in a Sales-led enterprise motion where the highest-value opportunities start with executive relationships, curated events, and account-based plays. You design marketing programs that accelerate stage progression in Tier-1 accounts, build multi-threading depth with senior engineering and C-level leaders, and scale what works through AI and automation. You partner closely with Sales to align on named accounts, own campaign strategy and execution across ABX, events, and digital channels, and measure everything against pipeline impact. You use AI extensively to multiply your output, eliminate repetitive work, and operate at a level that would normally require a larger team.

Your Mission

Design and execute marketing programs that create and accelerate enterprise pipeline in named Tier-1 accounts across automotive, defense, and industrial verticals in DACH and Europe.

Use AI and automation across your workflows to scale personalization, generate content variants, automate reporting and follow-up, and increase output without adding headcount.

Build and run ABX plays for priority accounts, including persona-specific targeting, multi-touch sequences, and coordinated entry narratives aligned with Sales.

Own the strategy, audience, KPIs, and quality bar for curated executive events such as roundtables, briefings, and industry salons, and steer delivery through agencies and partners.

Represent SPREAD at select industry moments where engineering leaders and decision-makers gather, with a clear account activation plan and measurable pipeline outcomes.

Partner closely with RevOps to operationalize tracking, attribution, and automation, while you define KPI standards and iterate based on performance data.

Collaborate with Product Marketing on positioning, content, and enablement that resonates with deeply technical buyers navigating software-defined product complexity.

Build repeatable marketing motions across field, digital, and content channels that compound pipeline impact quarter over quarter.

Your Experience

5+ years in B2B enterprise marketing, demand generation, or ABX in technical SaaS, engineering software, or industrial technology.

Direct experience marketing to engineering leaders, R&D executives, or C-level decision-makers in automotive, aerospace, defense, industrial manufacturing, or IoT.

An engineering degree or deep, demonstrable experience marketing to engineers. You can hold your own in a conversation about E/E architecture, PLM, or systems engineering.

Proven track record of building enterprise pipeline through account-based programs that support 100K+ ACV motions and long sales cycles.

Comfortable in executive-level settings. You have run or contributed to curated events, exec roundtables, or account-specific activations where pipeline outcomes are measured, not just attendance.

Strong ABX execution skills, not only planning, with the ability to run multi-touch programs end-to-end in close coordination with Sales.

Confidence working with data and performance signals, and partnering with RevOps to set up clean measurement and reporting.

Hands-on experience using AI tools for content generation, campaign personalization, analytics, or workflow automation in a marketing context.

Experience in enterprise solution selling environments where the target buyers are large OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers.

Fluent English required. German language skills at B2 or higher are a strong plus.

Based in Berlin or willing to relocate.

Why SPREAD?

Work on Agentic Engineering Intelligence and Product Twins that help leading manufacturers master software-defined complexity. You market technology that engineering leaders genuinely care about.

High ownership and measurable impact. You work closely with Sales, Marketing, and leadership, and you can connect your programs directly to pipeline and revenue.

A senior team that values craft, speed, and accountability over process and hierarchy.

Strong overall package including attractive compensation and an annual learning budget.

Mobility and wellbeing support through a Deutschlandticket mobility budget and an Urban Sports partnership.

Time off and flexibility with 30 vacation days, workation options, and one paid volunteering day per year.

In-office perks including lunch provided three times per week.
