You will deliver curated grooming rituals—from precision haircuts and beard design to hot towel shaves—that honour the Truefitt & Hill heritage while embracing Meraki’s philosophy of soulful, modern refinement.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Experience & Services

• Deliver world-class grooming services including precision haircuts, beard sculpting, hot towel shaves, and bespoke grooming rituals.
• Conduct personalised consultations, tailoring services to each guest’s style, preferences, and lifestyle needs.
• Consistently demonstrate emotional intelligence and genuine connection, ensuring comfort, trust, and loyalty.
• Provide expert guidance on luxury grooming products, treatments, and aftercare.
• Maintain impeccable personal presentation and treatment space in accordance with Forbes Five-Star standards.

Operational Excellence

• Uphold the highest levels of hygiene, health & safety, and professionalism at all times.
• Create, implement, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent excellence across all barbering services.
• Ensure salon and treatment areas remain pristine, organised, and fully stocked.
• Stay ahead of evolving grooming techniques, tools, and trends, ensuring Meraki sets benchmarks for luxury service.
• Contribute to promotional initiatives and spa activations, enhancing the overall success of the beauty and wellness offering.

Team Collaboration

• Work collaboratively with colleagues across spa, salon, and wellness services to deliver a seamless guest journey.
• Participate in scheduled training and team meetings, upholding Meraki protocols and service philosophy.
• Contribute feedback, creativity, and insight to support innovation and guest excellence.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential

• Minimum 3+ years’ experience in luxury barbering (Forbes Five-Star spa, heritage grooming house, or equivalent).
• Certified barbering or hairstyling qualification from an accredited institution.
• Mastery of traditional barbering techniques (cut-throat razor shaving, scissor-over-comb, beard design) and modern styling.
• Proven ability to deliver discreet, highly personalised service with warmth and emotional intelligence.
• Strong knowledge of luxury grooming products, treatments, and aftercare.
• Demonstrated knowledge of health & safety standards in line with international luxury spa and salon operations.
• Experience in developing, implementing, and following SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) to ensure consistent, elevated service delivery.
• Impeccable grooming, presentation, and communication skills.
• Fluent in English, with flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Desirable

• Direct experience with Truefitt & Hill or other heritage grooming brands.
• Familiarity with Zenoti or equivalent spa booking software.
• Retail experience, with the ability to guide clients in product selection and aftercare.

Compensation & Benefits

At Meraki Wellness, we believe in rewarding excellence with a competitive package that reflects both professional expertise and personal wellbeing.

• Base Salary: USD $36,000 per annum
• Commission on Treatments (target-led)
• Commission on Retail: 10% on personal skincare sales
• Quarterly Incentives: Sales incentives to support and reward retail performance
• On-Target Earnings (OTE): USD $70,000–$80,000 per annum
• Tax-Free Jurisdiction: The Cayman Islands are tax-neutral, allowing you to maximise earnings
