About us
Sourcevise helps companies find the right suppliers and build supply chains that hold up under pressure. We pair a modern, AI-powered sourcing tool with real procurement expertise, and give our customers exactly what matters: evaluations they can rely on, savings they can measure, and genuine resilience when markets shift.
We're not starting from scratch, though. Sourcevise is a brand of IIC International AG, a company with more than 30 years of experience in international sourcing. That means you get all the speed and energy of a startup, with the stability of an established business with tons of experience underneath it.
Why this matters
Procurement is one of the biggest cost levers a company has, and yet in most businesses it still runs on spreadsheets and gut instinct. Getting supplier selection right, and having evaluations you can trust, doesn't just save money, it provides companies with the confidence to plan ahead in a world of unpredictable supply chains.
Sourcevise brings modern sourcing within reach of companies that never had the time or the tooling for it before. You're the reason a shaky procurement call turns into a well-founded one, and the reason customers feel like they have a dedicated procurement team on their side, not just a tool they have to run themselves.

Tasks

Your mission
You help companies in our customer base rethink procurement from the ground up, building sourcing that runs on data, structure, and modern tools rather than habit. As Sourcing Manager, you're the engine behind that service. You take customer requirements and turn them into searches that deliver, you run the Sourcevise tool better than almost anyone, and the evaluations you produce actually move decisions. You own the whole arc, from the first request to a customer who's genuinely convinced.
Your responsibilities

Turn requirements into results: you take on customer requirements and shape them into clear, reliable sourcing searches.

Run searches start to finish: you own the full sourcing process in our tool, from supplier research through to a structured evaluation.

Own customer success: you're the main point of contact, often talking directly to leadership or C-level stakeholders such as a Chief Procurement Officer or Head of Procurement, and you make sure every search delivers real value for the customer.

Push processes to be AI-first: you help shape how sourcing works internally, thinking through what AI can take on at every step from day one.

Turn what you know into product value: you share what you learn on the ground so customers running the tool themselves benefit from it too.

Requirements

What you bring

Some early experience in procurement, sourcing, or purchasing, whether from internships, a working student role, or your first year or two on the job, ideally with an interest in a relevant category such as technical components.

A knack for customers: you listen, get to the real requirement, and can explain results in plain language.

An eye for detail and the discipline to handle data, specifications, and evaluations carefully.

A head for numbers: turning quotes and figures into a clear structure is something you actually enjoy.

A hands-on, ownership-driven attitude, combined with a genuine willingness to learn and question your own approach.

Fluent German and solid English.

A natural pull toward digital tools and AI-assisted ways of working.

The ability to bridge modern technology and the more traditional world of the German Mittelstand.

Benefits

What we offer

Room to shape things: a key role in a service model that's still growing, where you have real influence over how sourcing works here.

Startup meets substance: short decision paths and a modern culture, backed by more than 30 years of experience and stability from IIC International AG.

Workplace: your call. Work from our headquaters in Freiburg or our Munich Hub, close to the team.

Money: a competitive salary that grows fast as you take on more responsibility.

Development: a learning budget and regular access to people worth learning from, through Lunch & Learns, peer mentoring, and outside speakers. On top of that, a steep learning curve and direct access to leadership.

Shaping the role: the chance to help build processes from scratch instead of stepping into something already set in stone.

Benefits: Hansefit for fitness and wellness, and Jobrad for bike leasing.

Interview process

Screening call to get to know each other

Conversation with the team and decision
