Technical SEO Intern

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented SEO intern with a specific skillset to join our team. As an SEO intern, you will be responsible for optimizing our website to improve our ability to rank in search engines. You will be working closely with our Chief Marketing Officer and other stakeholders to ensure that our online presence is optimized for maximum visibility and conversions.

1. Conduct website audits to identify technical SEO issues, including crawl errors, broken links, and duplicate content.
2. Collaborate with the SEO team to develop and implement on-page optimization strategies, including meta tags, headings, and keyword targeting.
3. Assist in optimizing website structure, URL hierarchy, and internal linking to improve website crawlability and user experience.
4. Conduct keyword research using SEO tools to identify opportunities for content optimization and expansion.
5. Support the implementation of technical SEO recommendations, such as XML sitemaps, canonical tags, and schema markup.
6. Monitor website performance using SEO analytics tools, such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console, and provide regular reports on key metrics and trends.
7. Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in technical SEO, search engine algorithms, and industry developments.
8. Collaborate with the content team to optimize existing content and develop new content ideas based on keyword research and SEO insights.
9. Assist in conducting competitor analysis and benchmarking to identify areas for improvement and growth opportunities.
10. Support the team in maintaining SEO documentation, including SEO guidelines, checklists, and standard operating procedures.

1. Familiarity with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Moz, SEMrush, or similar platforms.
2. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify and troubleshoot technical SEO issues.
3. Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and website development principles.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
5. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
6. A passion for digital marketing, search engine optimization, and staying up to date with industry trends and best practices.
