The Role

We are seeking a skilled Internal Systems Developer to maintain, enhance, and develop solutions across our internal technology infrastructure. This role combines hands-on system administration with application development, working collaboratively with our Information & Systems (I&S) team and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) department to deliver robust technical solutions that drive business efficiency and support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

System Maintenance & Support​

  • Maintain and optimise existing internal systems, ensuring reliability, performance, and security​
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across various platforms and applications​
  • Monitor system performance and implement proactive maintenance schedules​
  • Manage system updates, patches, and infrastructure improvements​
  • Provide technical support to end-users and resolve system-related queries

Application Development & Integration

  • Develop bespoke applications and solutions to meet specific business requirements​
  • Create and maintain integrations between existing systems and new platforms​
  • Build automated workflows and processes to improve operational efficiency​
  • Design and implement data migration and synchronisation solutions​
  • Develop APIs and interfaces to connect disparate business systems

Collaboration with I&S and FP&A Teams

  • Work closely with the I&S team to align technical solutions with broader IT strategy​
  • Partner with FP&A to understand financial reporting and analysis requirements​
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliverable solutions​
  • Develop financial dashboards, reporting tools, and business intelligence solutions​
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling system requirements

Documentation & Process Improvement

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for all systems, applications, and processes​
  • Create user guides and training materials for business users​
  • Identify opportunities for system improvements and efficiency gains​
  • Participate in project planning and technical requirement gathering​
  • Ensure compliance with internal IT policies and industry best practices

Skills and Attributes Required

  • Previous experience with integration of internal systems. (CRM etc.)
  • Ability to develop and repair internal systems.
  • Experience with platforms such as Jira, Hubspot, and Power BI is essential.
  • Involvement and or experience in business process improvement.
  • Background or experience in Finance is preferred.
  • Collaborative and forward-thinking approach to problem solving.
  • Self-motivated, proactive and comfortable working autonomously.
  • Proficient when using Excel and Word and comfortable learning new systems.
  • Has the ability to work to deadlines with a clear & focused approach.

Successful candidates will require to pass Security Clearance
