This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in efficiently safeguarding our group’s legal and compliance operations and supporting our team, as well as working at the intersection with our portfolio companies. ## Tasks

*   **Legal Advisory and Assistance:** Provide legal support and advice on a wide range of issues, including Venture Capital deal-making, corporate law, contracts, intellectual property, EuVECA-specific regulation, employment law and data protection/GDPR;  
      
    Support interactions with portfolio companies on legal matters, providing guidance and assistance as needed;  
      
    Act as the primary point of contact for external legal counsel and manage relationships with legal service providers.
*   **Monitoring and Risk Management:** Monitor the group's legal and compliance requirements, ensuring all regulatory obligations are met;  
      
    Identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk; develop and implement corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues;  
      
    Implement any necessary changes to policies or procedures, supported by our external legal and compliance consultants, as needed.
*   **Legal decision-making process management:** Develop and manage the group’s shareholders’ and committee’s resolution and legal notification processes, ensuring effective and timely resolution.
*   **KYC/AML:** Supported by our external advisors, implement and oversee robust Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) policies and processes, maintaining necessary documentation, and facilitate the annual KYC/AML audit as a part of the AIFM audit
*   **EuVECA Compliance:** Oversee and manage compliance with the European Venture Capital Funds Regulation (EuVECA).
*   **Trademark Management:** Manage the group's trademark portfolio, including registration, monitoring, and the enforcement of trademark rights with external legal counsel as needed
*   **Digital asset-related counsel:** Implement and monitor compliance policies specifically for digital asset-related activities and transactions. Develop an understanding and consult the deal team on digital asset and cryptocrrency specific deal-, regulation- and tax-related legal frameworks

## Requirements

*   Attorney-at-Law or 2nd State Exam (Germany) and min. of 3 years of professional experience, ideally with a relevant legal focus.
*   Strong project management skills with a solution-oriented style of work and meticulous attention to detail.
*   Great verbal and written communication skills in German and English. Negotiation skills are a plus.
*   Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a high level of integrity, professionalism, and adaptability.
*   Languages: German and English; thereof one language at native speaker level; the respective foreign language fluently spoken and written (min. C1).
