Research/Development and Quality/Operations Consultant for our Talent Pool

We are expanding our freelance talent pool and are looking for experienced experts to join us as Research & Development, Quality & Operations Consultant. The role requires proven experience in IT service or application management within manufacturing environments, combined with expertise in PLM/PDM systems, R&D IT, Quality systems, or Smart Factory IT operations.

Please note: The exact tasks and responsibilities will be defined based on the client’s needs in each individual project request.

IT Service / Application Management

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT service or application management
• Hands-on experience in manufacturing or production environments

Domain Expertise (at least one of the following):

• R&D (CAD/CAE) IT systems
• PDM/PLM solutions (e.g., Windchill, Teamcenter, SAP PLM)
• Quality management systems / Quality IT operations
• Smart Factory IT operations

Service Management & Governance

• Proven track record in vendor management
• Ability to establish and oversee service governance processes
• Knowledge of ITIL / Service Delivery / Service Operations

Technology & Tools

• Experience with PLM/PDM platforms (e.g., Windchill, Teamcenter, SAP PLM)
• Understanding of CAD integration or related R&D IT tools is a plus
• Familiarity with low-code platforms (Mendix preferred)
• General knowledge of IT project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, SharePoint)
