SAP Archiving Consultant for our Talent Pool in Hungary

To expand our network, we are seeking experienced and highly qualified experts for our talent pool in Hungary. We regularly staff projects in international environments with a minimum duration of 6 to 12 months.

Currently, we are looking for SAP Archiving Consultants with at least 7 years of experience in international SAP programs and/or IT system rollouts. The ideal candidate will have excellent English and Hungarian language skills (spoken and written).

On-site presence in Budapest required.

The specific tasks depend on the client's needs for each project request.

• 7+ years of work experience within large-scale SAP/ERP/IT transformation programs
• 7 years’ experience in SAP Data Archiving and proven track record in delivering successful SAP data archiving projects in large-scale SAP environments
• Minimum 7 years of experience in defining Data Archiving strategies and processes (data archiving in SAP systems (e.g., SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA))
• Minimum 7 years of experience with all aspects of SAP ILM archiving from requirements gathering to implementation and post go-live activities.
• Familiarity with SAP archiving tools such as SAP ArchiveLink
• Experience in assessing and analyzing data volume in SAP systems, identifying archiving opportunities, and executing archiving projects to optimize database performance.
• Knowledge of electronic document archiving, including document storage, retrieval, and linking within SAP through ArchiveLink. Understanding of integration with content servers for document management.
• Strong understanding of data compliance regulations and how they apply to SAP data archiving, ensuring that data retention policies are properly implemented and adhered to.
• Skills in optimizing system performance through effective archiving strategies, reducing database size, and improving system response times.
• Ability to clearly communicate archiving strategies, progress, and benefits to business users, stakeholders, and technical teams. Skilled in translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
• Experience with archiving in the context of SAP system upgrades, migrations (e.g., from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA), or cloud transformations would be an advantage
• Fluent in English and Hungarian, both spoken and written
