Developer Assistant - Near Site

We are currently looking for a Developer Assistant to join an international team based in Brussels, Belgium, for a long-term opportunity within a public sector project. This is an ideal role for someone with a background in software development who is looking to grow their skills while supporting senior developers and working in a dynamic, collaborative environment. The position requires regular on-site presence (2–3 days per week) and is only open to EU citizen.

• Support developers in all aspects related to software design and coding.
• Participate in development meetings and assist in drafting minutes.
• Become familiar with the project’s codebase and progressively improve programming skills.
• Manage communication with other stakeholders involved in the project.
• Assist senior developers with both technical and administrative tasks, as needed.

• Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or similar.
• Java is mandatory for this specific project.
