Our business is expanding and we are committed to investing in our people. We are currently seeking 2 Mechanical Field Service Engineers.

## Tasks

*   Install and commission propulsion systems on various vessels.
*   Conduct system start-ups and ensure proper functionality according to specifications.
*   Perform scheduled maintenance and inspections of propulsion systems.
*   Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, and execute repairs promptly.
*   Replace or repair defective parts and components.
*   Provide on-site technical support and training to customers.
*   Respond to service calls and emergency repairs, ensuring minimal downtime for customers.
*   Maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing their needs and concerns.
*   Maintain accurate records of service activities, including reports on installations, maintenance, and repairs.
*   Document technical issues and solutions for future reference.

## Requirements

**Qualifications:**

*   Minimum degree of MBO-3 in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
*   +2 years of experience in mechanical field service, preferably in propulsion systems or a related industry.
*   Proven track record of successful installations, maintenance, and repairs
*   Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
*   Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
*   Familiarity with diagnostic tools and software used in the industry.
*   Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*   Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
*   Fluency in English. Dutch and French are a plus but not a must.
*   Enjoy travelling (up to 80% of the time) and working in various environments, including onboard ships and industrial sites.
*   A valid driver's license.
