Procurement Associate (m/f/x)

• Develop procurement skills, experiences and enhance understanding of Samsung SDS procurement policies and procedures.
• Engage and co-ordinate with the external supply partners for the supply of products and services related
• Responsible with supports as required for issuing RFx, reviewing suppliers’ quotation, selecting suppliers and negotiating procurement contracts
• Support procurement part lead as required for procurement activities including tender, procurement system processing and supplier performance / contract management
• In conjunction with Sales, Project management and Accounts Receivable to ensure the effective achievement of the on-time receipt of all deliverables to meet project cost and quality requirements
• Internal and external audit support

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Procurement management

• Manage, coordinate and complete P2P sourcing process in SAP MM in compliance with SDS Global Procurement Guide
• Complete procurement related tasks assigned by Procurement part lead
• Support Sales and relevant internal stakeholders to complete sourcing
• Support procurement month end close
• Support internal and external audit completion preparing required documents
• Weekly procurement update
• Support ad hoc procurement related tasks

Customs Clearance Support

• Co-ordinate with Logistics Service Providers to complete the customs declaration process for import and export

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES REQUIRED:

Essential

• Bachelor’s degree in ICT, Business, Economics, Mathematics or related.
• Minimum 1-2 year practical working experience in procurement, supply chain management AND/OR in IT industry
• Computer literacy with good knowledge of Microsoft Excel Application
• Fluent both German/English to work with all stakeholders including oral and written reporting
• Legally eligible to work in Germany

Desirable

• Recognized procurement and supply chain management qualification
• Familiar with ERP system e.g. SAP, Microsoft Dynamics etc
• Basic knowledge of procurement process
• Basic knowledge of Incoterms 2020
